Prices for the new five-door Hyundai i20 will start from £13,995, Hyundai confirms as the newly facelifted hatchback goes on sale.

In April, Hyundai revealed a revamped look for the i20, complete with additional technology and a DCT gearbox. The diesel option was dropped altogether. The reveal is expected to put a dent in Ford Fiesta’s sales.

All models in the i20 line up now feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complete with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a reversing camera and bluetooth.

The refreshed i20 S also includes 1.2 litre petrol engine with 74 bhp and five-speed manual gearbox.

The i20 SE, which will be priced at £15,495, will feature a 1.2 litre petrol engine with 83 bhp and 15” alloys, amongst other features including Fogs, LED running lights, projector headlights, rear parking sensors, cruise and electric front windows.

Above these two trims are the Premium Nav and Premium SE Nav. The Premier Nav will start from £16,245 and the features 16” alloys wheels, satellite navigation, LED tail lights, all-round parking sensors, and climate control. For an extra £1050, the Premium SE Nav adds a panoramic sunroof, a push-button start and a heated steering wheel and front seats.

Colour choices for the new i20 include Tomato Red, Polar White, Clean Slate, Champion Blue, Phantom Black, Sleek Silver, Stardust Grey and Passion Red – some of which will cost extra.

The 2018 Hyundai is now on sale at Hyundai’s UK dealers.
